One is never alone

Again, I would brighten this picture up a bit. This was also taken at my retreat a couple weeks ago. This is an example of rule of thirds. I also really liked the bokeh in this because you can see some of the background flowers.

Photography club

Hey,


Just an update. This week we had an election at our photography club for next year's board. I wanted to become President but only upperclassmen can run for those positions. So, instead I was elected as Vice-President. However, my friend also ran so instead we just became Co-VP's. But I'm really excited for my Sophmore year. I really hope that I can reform this photography club and bring in new members.

Auction Details...

Hi, so I got an email from the coordinator explaining somethings, i'll just copy and paste it down here...


Just an FYI: For the silent auction, all photographs will have a $50 starting bid, with a minimum raise of $5. Unless otherwise notified, we will keep this starting point. The auction will last the entire month of June. 15% of the proceeds will be donated to Yung Wing Elementary School. The other 85% will go to the photographer.


So, this was a surprise to me... Apparently the auction will last the entire month and i'll have 85% of the proceeds. I'm so blessed to have entered this contest and excited to see what doors are down the line. 

Vibrant Pink

I was on a retreat in PA this past memorial day weekend and there were so many gorgeous flowers there, so i'll be posting them. But I just thought the color was really beautiful and if I were to edit it I would make it a bit brighter. 

God's Promise

So the weather here has been strange and inconsistent. So while it was raining the sun was out and you know what that means. RAINBOWS! I happened to get a double rainbow from my room. Unfortunately I had to take it with a screen in my way... But its not too noticeable. 

Photography Exhibit

So my two photos are going to be on Exhibit June 7th! I'm so excited, but it's on a Thursday, so I wont be able to see my photos :( I'm still really happy that other people will be able to see it. Purple Spring

Haven't posted a picture in a while... SAT's are coming up so I'm really busy. 
ANYWAYS, here's another flower picture. I just have so many flowers in my backyard and every week there are new flowers that are blooming along with the different weather. I have no idea what kind of flower this is, like most flowers I take pictures of. But I really liked the color of this and it's a nice spring picture. Might as well enjoy these flower pictures because in the winter all you'll see are snow pictures (hopefully not..)
